Stage One: Download LocalWP
Step 1: Open your browser and search for LocalWP or go directly to https://localwp.com. Click the “DOWNLOAD FOR FREE” button.
Step 2: Fill the form with the following details:
- Platform: Windows
- First Name: Type your first name
- Last Name: Type your last name
- Organization Type: Select Other
- Work Email: Type your email address
Click the “GET IT NOW” button.
You’ll see a message: “Your download is starting…”
Once downloaded, you’re ready for installation.
Stage Two: Install LocalWP on Your Computer
Step 1: Go to your Downloads folder and double-click the downloaded LocalWP setup file.
Step 2: In the pop-up window, select “Only for me” and click Next.
Step 3: Click Install. A message saying “Please wait, Local is being installed” will appear.
Step 4: After installation, you’ll see “Completing Local Setup”. Click Finish.

Stage Three: Create Your WordPress Website

Stage Four: Launch and Access Your WordPress Site
Step 1: Once the site is created, you’ll see two buttons at the top-right:
“Open Site” – to view your website’s front-end
“WP Admin” – to log into your WordPress Dashboard
Step 2: Click “WP Admin”, and log in using the username and password you created.
